About Us

The Napa Opioid Safety Coalition (NOSC) is a local collaboration of dedicated community partners, individuals, organizations, and agencies committed to preventing opioid misuse, reducing overdose deaths, and expanding access to treatment throughout Napa County. Our community-based coalition operates with volunteer members from diverse sectors, guided by a steering committee that provides strategic direction and oversight. Our task forces address specific issues and projects. By working together, we ensure a coordinated, comprehensive, and collective approach to our mission. We align our priorities with those of the State to deliver innovative and equitable solutions aimed at addressing the opioid crisis through prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery services. We believe that by combining our expertise and reach, we can make a significant positive impact on the health and wellness of Napa County. NOSC’s mission is to transform the health of the Napa Community by leveraging partnerships to prevent opioid misuse and support substance use treatment through safe opioid prescribing, harm reduction, education, and easy access to treatment.
